Digital assets
Your assets recorded, monitored, and prioritised in one system.
Infrastructure owners have hundreds of assets to inspect and maintain on a limited budget. GFM builds systems that turn field data into a priority list and budget estimates, then runs them together with your team.
Landslide Hazard & Monitoring System
Slope inventory, risk assessment, and monitoring in one system.
LHMS is a WebGIS-based system for monitoring, assessing, and managing slope risk in one place. Toll-road operators use it to map hundreds of slopes, prioritise inspections, and follow up on findings. It is built and operated by the GFM team.
- Slope inventory and assessment following the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works guideline (Kepmen PUPR 175/KPTS/2023) and the Hong Kong GEO Geoguides
- Routine and detailed inspections on a tablet, with sketches and photos
- Hazard × consequence risk scoring with P1–P3 priorities, cross-checked against the Hong Kong NPRS method
- Next inspection dates set automatically from the risk level
- Interactive GIS map and portfolio analytics per road section
- Tiered verification with an audit trail, PDF and Excel reports
Client application access: gfmslope-lhms.app

How LHMS is used
From inventory to budget
- Stage 1
Inventory
Field inspection, then every asset enters the GIS database.
- Stage 2
Risk ranking
Hazard and consequence scores produce a priority list.
- Stage 3
Inspection programme
Routine and engineering inspections are scheduled from the ranking.
- Stage 4
Mitigation
Protective works are designed in order of priority.
- Stage 5
Budget
Maintenance, inspection, and strengthening costs are estimated per asset.
Quick tour
LHMS in 70 seconds
Nine core features, from the dashboard and hazard map to reporting. Screens show sample data, not client asset data.
LHMS features
Everything asset-owner teams and field inspectors use today, from inventory to reporting. Forms and assessments follow two references: the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works guideline (Kepmen PUPR 175/KPTS/2023) and the Hong Kong GEO Geoguides.
In use
Slope inventory & map
One database for every slope on every section.
- Inventory forms following Kepmen PUPR 175/KPTS/2023: identity, geometry, geology, protective structures, drainage
- Master data for slopes and road sections, numbered by official province and section codes
- Three-point GPS coordinates (start, middle, end) with accuracy; administrative region filled in automatically
- Interactive hazard map with the risk value of each slope, filterable by section
Field inspection
Inspectors fill in the official forms directly on a tablet.
- Routine inspection with automatic condition scoring
- Detailed inspection by element: drainage, roadway, slope, engineered structures, instrumentation
- Defect and condition codes chosen from the guideline tables, not typed freely
- On-screen sketches and camera photos stored with the report
Preparation & safety
Field paperwork is filled in once per activity.
- Preparation pack and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) copied automatically to each slope's form
- Versioned library of standard JSAs
- Drafts saved on the device and sent automatically when the signal returns
Risk assessment & priorities
Field data becomes an order of treatment.
- Hazard × consequence scoring per the guideline, giving a risk level and P1, P2, P3 priority
- Cross-check with the Hong Kong GEO NPRS method for soil cuts, rock cuts, fills, and retaining walls, partly pre-filled from inventory data
- One slope can be assessed for more than one failure type
- Next routine inspection set automatically at 1, 3, or 6 months depending on risk
Findings & verification
Every finding has an owner and a deadline.
- Findings with technical codes, priority, owner, deadline, and status
- Draft → Submitted → Verified workflow, or returned with notes
- Separate roles for inspectors (service provider), verifiers (asset owner), managers, and viewers
- Audit trail for every change; deleted data can be restored
Reports & insight
From hundreds of forms to a portfolio view.
- Dashboard: slope count, due and overdue inspections, high-risk slopes, open findings
- Asset insight: risk profile per section, condition × risk, recurring findings, data completeness
- Official-format PDF reports and Excel (form layout) and CSV exports
LHMS roadmap
From what runs today to what we are building
LHMS grows from the needs of users in the field. Features in trials or planned are not yet part of the standard service; we share release dates directly with users.

Instrument monitoring
Inclinometers, piezometers, crack meters, survey pegs, and settlement plates per slope. Reading reports in PDF are parsed into charts, with Alert, Alarm, Action thresholds and movement direction on the map.
Special inspections
Triggered by high risk, extreme rainfall, emergencies, or instrument thresholds being exceeded.
Full offline field mode
Forms opened and filled with no signal at all, then synchronised in the background.
